WHMCS has released an important security update for CVE-2026-29204.

If you are using your own self-managed WHMCS installation, please update your WHMCS immediately to a patched version.

Affected versions include:

• WHMCS 9.x builds before 9.0.4
• WHMCS 8.x builds before 8.13.3
• WHMCS 7.x builds after 7.4.0

Patched versions:

• WHMCS 8.13.3
• WHMCS 9.0.4

If your WHMCS is currently running 8.13.1 or 8.13.2, we strongly recommend updating to 8.13.3 immediately.

Before updating, please take a full backup of your WHMCS files and database.

Important Note:

This update is only required for resellers who use their own WHMCS installation. If you do not use WHMCS, no action is required from your side.

Your hosting services, cPanel accounts, WHM access, websites, emails, and servers are not affected by this update.

For your account and client security, please complete this update as soon as possible.
